Specific instructions that will help you turn good intentions into action. Again. And again. And again.
The first module introduces key concepts and principles underpinning TBDB. We’ll look at the multitude of ways in which your thoughts derail your good intentions and consider whether your current use of limited resources (such as time, money, attention, emotional energy and wellbeing) is wise or worrisome. You’ll learn why small – even tiny – changes offer the best chance of thinking better and doing better and how to protect your most valuable resource – your attention. Finally you’ll start identifying the specific things – big and small – about yourself and your life that could be better.
HIGH RETURN HABITS
Module 2 begins with an overview of the three components required to harness your habits – the Anchor, the specific Behaviour, and the Celebration. You’ll learn how to fine-tune each component to ensure your habits stick, and to align your habits with your goals. Finally, we’ll work through a process that will help you identify – and overcome – any barriers or obstacles to maintaining your habit.
SYSTEMATISE TO SIMPLIFY
In Module 3 we introduce the second pillar of thinking and doing better: systematisation. You’ll identify which elements of your life could benefit most from systematisation, and we’ll share some of the foundational systems that have transformed our own productivity and effectiveness. You’ll learn how to design your own system, and the critical review steps that will ensure you continue to optimise your systems.
SET GOALS THAT GET YOU TO WHERE, WHAT AND WHO YOU WANT TO BE
In Module 4 we’ll explore the science behind why goals work and how to ensure you set goals that align with what you actually want. You’ll learn about a tool that will rapidly increase your return on investment when it comes to goal setting and take action to bulletproof your goals.
MAKE IT STICK
The final Module of the course provides an opportunity to reflect on your learning and cement new ways of thinking, doing and being. We introduce two final tools that can be used on a daily basis to ensure that you continue to hone your new skills.
